Santino is a stone-throwing chimpanzee at a Zoo in Sweden. Santino was extremely aggressive. He killed the only other male of his colony in 1995. In 1997, the chimpanzee started throwing stones at the public. The keepers believed that the aggressive and dominant behavior was not good for the chimpanzee, so they had him neutered after ten years. As a result, his hormone level dropped and he became a lot calmer and more social. There is therefore a good chance that the now somewhat corpulent Santino will leave his weapons alone from now on.
